    Dr. Marta Lista, DVM

    Dr. Lista earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida in 2000 and her B.S. from the University of Miami in1996. Dr. Lista began working at Trail Animal Hospital in 2007 and shortly after purchased the animal hospital from her mentor, Dr. Perry Smith.

    She is the 2022-2023 President of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA). Dr. Lista is a past-president of the South Florida Veterinary Medical Association (SFVMA). Dr. Lista lobbies in Tallahassee and locally in support of the veterinary profession and animal care. She is a member of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine Dean’s Circle of Excellence and served a three year term on the UFCVM Admissions Committee. Dr. Lista has a strong commitment to our community. Her community service includes work with the Junior League of Miami, Cat Network, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Humane Society, Miami Dade County Animal Services and Miami Veterinary Foundation. Dr. Lista participates in career days for local elementary schools to educate our future generations on veterinary medical careers and providing proper pet care. She has spoken at the University of Miami and Florida International University regarding veterinary medicine admissions and careers and is a mentor for local college students attempting to gain admissions to veterinary school.

    Dr. Angela Guevara Nieveen, DVM

    Dr. Guevara-Nieveen stepped into the field of veterinary medicine at the age of 16 when she underwent a medical externship program in veterinary medicine in high school. She went on to graduate from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s in Biology and a minor in mathematics. While at UM, she helped start the first pre-vet society alongside other students. While here, she was also part of the Alpha Epsilon Delta (Honors Medical Society) and the Marine Mammal Stranding Team. She later went on to pursue her degree in veterinary medicine at University of Florida and proudly graduated as a veterinarian in 2008. Since her graduation, Dr. Guevara has had experience with general practice, emergency and specialty hospitals, and corporate settings. She enjoys all aspects of medicine with a predilection for endocrinology, soft tissue surgery, and client education. Her family consists of a wonderful husband, 2 beautiful girls, and an ever-supportive mother and her super sweet puppy Abby!

    Dr. Victoria Aldama, DVM

    Dr. Victoria Aldama earned her veterinary degree from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021 and received her B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). Her professional interests include small animal surgery, mixed animal general practice, and dentistry. Victoria grew up in Miami, FL, and after living in Knoxville, Tennessee for 4 years, she has finally returned to the sunshine state to live close to her family. She is currently living with her husband Gio, her son Dominic and rescue pups Piglet and Pongo. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, playing the piano, listening to Pitbull Radio, and spending time outdoors.

    Dr. Bianca Pinto, DVM

    Dr. Pinto earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2025 and holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Florida State University. She completed her pre-clinical coursework on the beautiful Caribbean island of Grenada and went on to complete her clinical training at the University of Florida. During her time at St. George’s University, Dr. Pinto served as president of the Women’s Veterinary Leadership Development Initiative, led peer tutoring sessions, and represented her class as the senior delegate on the curriculum committee. Dr. Pinto has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and is eager to continue developing her skills and learning new procedures. As a proud Miami native, she is thrilled to be back in her hometown serving the community she loves. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, exercising, and reading.

    Hospital Administrator

    Erika has been a part of our team since 2012. She is currently one of our Hospital Administrators responsible for making sure the patients are comfortable and our days run smoothly. She lives with her husband Lewis, stepson Lucas, two cats Cricut and Waffles and a dog named Sadie.  When she is not in the office you can find her making various crafts, traveling, baking, or thrift shopping. Erika’s favorite part of working with us is seeing pets go home happy and healthy at the end of each day

    Client Care Representative

    Ama joined our team in 2023. She is our receptionist, responsible for answering phone calls, making appointments, and updating any records for your pets. She lives with her parents and her dog named Ron. On her free time, you can find Ama reading or going out with her friends. Her favorite thing about working here is seeing all the cute dogs coming in.

    Manager/Head Veterinary Technician

    Daniela joined our team in 2021. She is responsible for treating your pets and supervising the team, assuring everything is in order. Daniela lives with her family and her dog named Bruno. When she is not at the hospital, she enjoys going to the beach, painting, and watching movies. Daniela’s favorite part of working here is getting to interact with all the big dogs!

    Stephany Cerrato
    Head Surgical Technician

    Stephany joined our team in 2022. She is our head surgical technician helping prepare our patients before surgery. Currently a student in college studying to receive her Bachelor's, Stephany hopes to get into vet school and become a veterinarian specializing in surgery. She lives with her family, her dogs Roxie and Choco, and her cats Steak and Tiger. When she is not at the hospital, you can find her improving her singing abilities and discovering new music. Stephany's favorite part of the job is taking care of the patients when they are recovering from a surgical procedure.

    Surgical Technician/Boarding Supervisor

    Gabriela joined our team in 2021. She is responsible for supervising any pets staying with us, assuring they are cozy and happy. She lives with her family, her cats Sasha, Gus, Pirata, and Stacio, and her macaw named Paco. On her free time, Gabriela enjoys various arts and crafts, reading and exercising. Her favorite thing about working with us is getting to take the boarders for their daily walks.

    Maria joined our team in 2023. She is responsible for taking care of our patients and cleaning and sterilizing equipment. In her free time, Maria loves to play video games, go thrifting, and spending time outdoors. Her favorite part of working here is being able to work with the caring staff and seeing the sweetest animals.

    Fiorella joined our team in 2023. She plays a key role in keeping your pets comfortable and happy. She lives with her family, her dogs Nala and Milly, and her cats Ally and Ace. On her free time she likes to discover new places around the city, enjoys thrifting, a nice beach day, and likes to relax with music and a good book. Fiorella's favorite part of working here is being able to develop close relationships with patients and creating comfortable spaces for owners to feel cared for alongside their pet.

    Flavia joined our team in 2024. She has a dog named Linda, a cat named Holi, and two parakeets Chicho and Pepi. In her free time, she loves walking with her dog, reading a book, or going for a run. Her favorite part of working here is helping care for each patient that enters the hospital. She also really appreciates the fact that the technicians are young, yet they are super responsible and hard-working, which is something truly admirable.
